Jaclyn and Jordan met in September 2020, after they both left NYC to move home during the Covid-19 pandemic. Jordan and Jaclyn matched on Hinge and eager to leave the confinement of their homes, went out on their first date to Tequila Mockingbird later that week. It was there over margaritas that they discovered they both grew up going to the same summer camp, and the similarities didn't stop there. Jaclyn and Jordan had been in the same room at the same time countless times, their lives already intertwined without their knowing.

As life returned to normal, they made their way back to New York City, and the relationship flourished. From traveling the world together, to moving in together and making their UWS apartment a home, the past 5 years have been filled with laughter and love.

On January 26, 2024, Jordan brought Jaclyn to Windham, NY (the first place they ever went away to together) and serenaded Jaclyn with a song he had written just for her, asking her to marry him. After crying like a baby, she ecstatically said yes!
